Providence vs Boston Food Truck Showdown
India Point Park, Providence, RI
June 6, 2015

 

This festival brought together food trucks from both Rhode Island and Massachussets to compete head-to-head for the title of Best Food Truck named by a People's Choice Award and Judge's Choice.

 

*Oversaw this event entirely from conception to execution working with local authorities to book venue. Led team in creating competition guidelines.

South Carolina Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival
South Carolina State Farmers Market, Columbia, SC
April 26, 2015

 

Recognizing South Carolina's growing food truck community, Columbia was chosen as a new market to explore during Food Truck Festivals of America's intial national growth. The new area event was an enormous success drawing attendees from South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia.

 

*Oversaw this event entirely from conception to execution. Discovered local organizations to work with and negotiated partnerships. Worked closely with local partners to learn the market's consumer expectations.

Great New Mexico Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival
Balloon Museum, Albuquerque, NM
April 11, 2015

 

Featuring local New Mexico food trucks and craft brews, this festival caused thousands of locals to come support local businesses. With extensive social media hype, this festival saw lots of energy leading up to it. Other local events played off it, including meet-ups and social cycling events.

 

*Oversaw this event entirely from conception to execution, including determining ideal date and location. Traveled to location prior to booking to finalize partnerships.

New Hampshire Food Truck Festival
Redhook Brewery, Portsmouth, NH
October 5, 2014

 

In the fall of 2014, Food Truck Festivals of America (then Food Truck Festivals of New England) partnered with the Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth, NH for an event that highlighted food trucks and craft beer. Portsmouth, a true foodie community with few local food trucks, embraced this event.

 

*Oversaw the entire organization and execution of this event after venue and date were determined. Negotiated and booked festival to return for second year in 2015.

Project | 05

Framingham Food Truck Festival
Bowditch Field, Framingham, MA
September 20, 2014

 

The Framingham Food Truck Festival was part of a larger festival, the innagural MetroFest, designed to showcase the 19 individual communities of MetroWest. The food truck festival also hosted the 'Cream of the Crop' contest featuring food trucks cooking unique dishes using Hood Cream, the food truck festival title sponsor.

 

*Oversaw the organization and execution of this food truck festival, after venue and date were booked, including the conception and excecution of an addtional cooking competition. Responsibilities included negotiating responsibilities with partners, soliciting sponsors, and working directly with MetroFest executive director.
